A visit by Representative Peter Kocot and Select Board Member Diana Szynal

Mr. Kocot gave us a hands on experience on how a bill becomes a law. The example he used was the problem black bears present to humans in residential areas.

Mr. Kocot also responded to third graders' questions which included:

• Do you travel to Boston in a limousine?

• Have you ever met the President?

• Who inspired you to be a representative?

• What do you like to do when you are not working?

• If you lived in the time of the Revolutionary War would you be a Patriot or a Loyalist?

• If you had to mediate the Boston Massacre how would you do it?
