Geography

Hatfield is made of about 10,880 acres of land with water. Hatfield is inside the Connecticut River Valley. Inside the valley it is mostly flat, with some rolling hills. Hatfield and Hadley are separated by the Connecticut river. Hatfield is about five miles from Hadley, eleven miles from Northampton, and about eight miles from Amherst.
