Town Hall

Town Hall was dedicated on October 14, 1930. The old Town Hall used to be at
the town library. The library was a two story building. The top floor is a
museum and the bottom floor is a library. The Town Hall has a lot of rooms. One
for the police chief and there is also a gym. The gym is used for selectman
meetings, and voting. The down stairs is used for cub scout
meetings and girl scout meetings. It is open during the day and during the
night. There is a tax room that is used for taxes.

| On October 14, 1930 the new town hall was built. It had many uses. The town hall had large rooms. Girl scout meetings were held on the second floor. There were voting rooms and meeting rooms down stairs. There was also a gym on the first floor. People from Smith Academy used the town hall a lot. They played basketball there and practiced their music. The selectman used the town hall, they held their selectman meetings. Other rooms were used by the tax collector. Everybody used the town hall.
